Der Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (VRN) empfiehlt allen Fußballfans zum Spiel zwischen 1899 Hoffenheim und dem Hamburger SV am Mittwoch, 11. April um 20.00 Uhr die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel zur An- und Abreise zu nutzen. Dazu wird die Deutsche Bahn AG Sonderzüge einsetzen und das Regelzugangebot verstärken. Aus bzw. in Richtung Heilbronn ist wegen der Streckensperrung aufgrund von Vegetationsmaßnahmen leider kein Zugverkehr möglich. Alternativ besteht die Möglichkeit mit der Stadtbahnlinie 4 von Heilbronn nach Eppingen zu fahren und dort auf die S 5 nach Sinsheim umzusteigen. Die Palatina Bus GmbH wird zusätzliche Busverkehre und Verstärkungsmaßnahmen auf insgesamt 7 Linien einrichten. Ein Pendelverkehr vom Sinsheim Hauptbahnhof zur WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena und zurück wird angeboten.
Sonderzüge – Verstärkungsmaßnahmen – Sonderhalte
Zur Anreise verkehrt von Ludwigshafen (Rhein) Hbf neben den fahrplanmäßigen S-Bahnen um 16.57 Uhr, 17.29 Uhr (nur bis Sinsheim Hbf) und 17.59 Uhr eine zusätzliche Regionalbahnen (RB) um 17.04 Uhr über Neckargemünd nach Sinsheim Museum/Arena. Es können nicht alle Unterwegshalte bedient werden. Ab Heidelberg Hbf bestehen Verbindungen nach Sinsheim um 17.34 Uhr, 17.40 Uhr, 18.04 Uhr und 18.34 Uhr.
Zur Rückreise verkehren ab der Station Sinsheim Museum/Arena neben der fahrplanmäßigen S-Bahn um 21.51 Uhr nach Heidelberg Hbf, mit Umstieg auf die S-Bahn nach Mannheim und der RB um 23.15 Uhr nach Heidelberg, mit Umstieg in die S-Bahn nach Ludwigshafen Hbf, zwei Entlastungszüge um 22.17 Uhr, und 22.27 Uhr über Heidelberg Hbf bis nach Ludwigshafen Hbf.
Von Aglasterhausen bestehen Verbindungen nach Sinsheim um 17.32 Uhr, um 18.02 Uhr und 18.32 Uhr mit Umstieg in Meckesheim sowie zurück um 23.15 Uhr ab Sinsheim Museum/Arena, mit Anschluss in Meckesheim.
Für Fußballfans aus Osterburken besteht bei der Anreise mit der S 1 um 16.36 Uhr sowie aus Mosbach mit der S 2 um 16.35 Uhr, um 17.05 Uhr und 17.35 Uhr mit Anschluss in Neckargemünd auf einen Zug nach Sinsheim.
Zur Abreise von Sinsheim Museum/Arena in Richtung Mosbach und Osterburken bietet sich der Entlastungszug um 22.27 Uhr mit Umstieg in Neckargemünd bis Osterburken sowie die RB um 23.15 Uhr an, die in Neckargemünd Anschluss bis Mosbach hat.
Von Eppingen fahren vier S-Bahnen um 16.31 Uhr, 17.31 Uhr, 18.31 Uhr und 19.31 Uhr nach Sinsheim Museum/Arena mit allen Unterwegshalten.
Zur Rückreise nach Eppingen verkehrt ab Sinsheim Museum/Arena eine S-Bahn um 22.10 Uhr sowie eine S-Bahn um 23.10 Uhr mit allen Unterwegshalten.
Zusätzlicher Busverkehr – Shuttle Bahnhof/Arena
Die Palatina Bus GmbH wird zu den Heimspielen von 1899 Hoffenheim auf den Linien 760 (Mühlhausen), 761 (Waldangelloch), 762 (Zuzenhausen), 763 (Hilsbach), 765 (Adersbach), 796 (Reichartshausen) und 797 (Helmstadt) jeweils zwei zusätzliche Fahrten vor und nach dem Spiel zur Hin- und Rückreise einrichten. Die Busse werden am Busterminal –Bereich P 9 – für die Rückfahrt 15 Minuten bzw. 60 Minuten nach Spielende bereitgestellt.
Ein Pendelverkehr bringt die Besucher vom Bahnhof Sinsheim (Elsenz) Hbf zum Stadion und bis ca. eine Stunde nach Spielende wieder zurück.
