Die praxisintegrierte Ausbildung zur Erzieherin/zum Erzieher (PIA) wird von den Fachschulen für Sozialpädagogik und den Bewerberinnen und Bewerbern als attraktives Modell angesehen. Das wird jetzt deutlich: Insgesamt haben 18 öffentliche und 13 private Schulen die Einrichtung dieses Schulversuchs zum kommenden Schuljahr beantragt. Acht weitere öffentliche Schulen möchten mit dem Schulversuch im Schuljahr 2013/14 beginnen. „Der Start der praxisintegrierten Erzieherausbildung ist ein wichtiger Schritt, um den steigenden Personalbedarf in den Kitas nachhaltig erfüllen zu können“, sagte Staatssekretär Dr. Frank Mentrup MdL. Das neue Ausbildungsmodell, sieht neben einer engeren Verknüpfung von schulischen und praktischen Ausbildungsphasen auch eine Vergütung über alle drei Jahre vor.
„Mit dem neuen Ausbildungsmodell zählt Baden-Württemberg im Bereich der frühkindlichen Bildung zu den Vorreitern in Deutschland“, betonte Mentrup. Die in diesem Jahr stark gestiegenen Anmeldezahlen bei den Fachschulen seien ein Beweis für die Attraktivität der praxisintegrierten Ausbildung. Auch die Abiturientinnen und Abiturienten des Jahrgangs 2012 könnten im Herbst mit der Ausbildung starten, sofern sie zuvor ein sechswöchiges Kita-Praktikum absolvierten.
Derzeit sind die Fachschulen und die Träger der Kindertageseinrichtungen dabei, Kooperationsvereinbarungen abzuschließen. Einige Schulen wählen gemeinsam mit den Trägern die künftigen Auszubildenden aus. Voraussetzung für die Aufnahme in die praxisintegrierte Ausbildung ist ein Ausbildungsvertrag mit einer Kindertageseinrichtung. „Wir setzen darauf, dass entsprechend der großen Bewerberlage auch möglichst viele Ausbildungsverträge abgeschlossen werden“, sagte Mentrup. Das Kultusministerium schaffe in den Fachschulen für Sozialpädagogik 48 zusätzliche Lehrerstellen, um die Bewerberinnen und Bewerber aufnehmen zu können.
Praxisintegrierte Ausbildung zur Erzieherin/zum Erzieher:
Ab dem Ausbildungsjahr 2012/13 sollen in Baden-Württemberg Fachschulen für Sozialpädagogik in Form eines Schulversuchs erstmals auch eine praxisintegrierte Ausbildung zur Erzieherin/zum Erzieher (PIA) mit Ausbildungsvergütung anbieten können. Die Vergütung wird sich an der Ausbildungsvergütung von Verwaltungsfachangestellten orientieren (1. Ausbildungsjahr: 703 Euro/Monat, 2. Ausbildungsjahr: 753 Euro, 3. Ausbildungsjahr: 799 Euro/Monat). Der Schulversuch wurde in enger Abstimmung mit den Trägern der Kindertageseinrichtungen und der Fachschulen vorbereitet. Die Finanzierung der Ausbildungsvergütung erfolgt über die Träger. Die schulischen Inhalte sind beim neuen Ausbildungsmodell dieselben wie bei der bisherigen Ausbildung. Beim neuen Modell sind die Auszubildenden über drei Jahre hinweg im Schnitt je drei Tage an der Fachschule und zwei Tage in der Einrichtung. Die Absolventen sind wie bisher staatlich anerkannte Erzieherinnen/Erzieher. Voraussetzung für die Aufnahme an der Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik ist für Bewerberinnen und Bewerber mit einem mittleren Bildungsabschluss weiterhin der Besuch des einjährigen Berufskollegs für Praktikantinnen und Praktikanten.
