Wenn man die frisch gebackene Deutsche Meisterin im Hürdenlauf Carolin Nytra fragt, lautet die Antwort: Natürlich. Eine Einschränkung gibt es allerdings. Denn um Spitzensport und ein berufsbegleitendes Studium gleichzeitig bewältigen zu können, bedarf es eines starken Partners. Den hat die 27-jährige Athletin in der Stadtmarketing Mannheim GmbH gefunden, für die sie seit 2010 im Bereich Celebrity Marketing tätig ist, und die sie während ihrer Bachelor-Arbeit an der Universität Oldenburg unterstützt. Wie gut diese Zusammenarbeit funktioniert, beweist nun auch die Auszeichnung als „Partnerbetrieb des Spitzensports“, die Carolin Nytra und Stadtmarketing-Geschäftsführer Johann W. Wagner gestern gemeinsam entgegenahmen.
Im Rahmen des Unternehmertags 2012 der Arbeitgeber Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart zeichneten der Mittelstandsbeauftragte Peter Hofelich und der Präsident des Landessportverbandes Dieter Schmidt-Volkmar 11 Partnerbetriebe aus, die Spitzensportlerinnen und Spitzensportler beschäftigen oder ausbilden. Darunter auch die Stadtmarketing Mannheim GmbH. Für Johann W. Wagner Grund zur Freude, aber auch Ansporn: „Mit Carolin Nytra haben wir nicht nur eine engagierte Mitarbeiterin gewonnen, die als Spitzensportlerin Teamfähigkeit, Leistungsbereitschaft und eine hohe Motivation mitbringt. Sie ist auch eine Botschafterin für die ausgezeichnete Arbeit der Mannheimer Sportvereine, die in sämtlichen Disziplinen Talente hervorbringen. Durch unsere Zusammenarbeit mit Carolin Nytra und Hockey-Olympiasiegerin Fanny Rinne, die ebenfalls für uns tätig ist, möchten wir positives Beispiel sein und andere Unternehmen zum Nachahmen animieren. Die Auszeichnung „Partnerbetriebe des Spitzensports“ wurde gestern zum zweiten Mal vergeben. Die Veranstaltung moderierte SWR-Journalist Markus Brock. Bereits bei der ersten Preisverleihung 2010 befand sich die Stadtmarketing Mannheim GmbH unter den 22 Preisträgern. Damals wurde das Unternehmen für seine Zusammenarbeit mit Fanny Rinne ausgezeichnet. Dass das Konzept aufgeht, beweist der sportliche Erfolg der beiden Stadtmarketing-Mitarbeiterinnen: Sowohl Fanny Rinne als auch Carolin Nytra nehmen vom 27. Juli bis zum 12. August an den Olympischen Spielen in London teil.
